Things have been so crazy lately between editing Soul Avenged and writing Requiem. I’ve also been working on a little side project, a story for an anthology that I’ll discuss in a later post. I’m not going to lie. When I’m perusing the shelves for new reading material, whether at the bookstore or while sitting at my laptop, the cover is important. The innards could very well contain the next classic, but if the cover looks like hell, I’m on to the next one. My thought is this: if you’re going to take the time to write a great story, why not take equal time to design a great cover? Read more…
